On Thanksgiving, Meals on Wheels San Diego County delivered holiday meals to East County seniors and disabled veterans in need.

To kick off the festivities, Meals on Wheels staff and volunteers gathered at its El Cajon Drop Site in East County with nearly 10 colorful vintage trucks courtesy of Pickups Limited San Diego Chapter and South Bay Cruisers.

Meals on Wheels San Diego County President and CEO Brent Wakefield delivered to El Cajon couple Jennie and her husband Kim Ogden who have been clients since October 2021. In addition to delivering their Thanksgiving meals, and also brought them a special holiday gift.
